Dear Friends, Grace - Undeserved, Generous & Free As a young Christian I never really understood "The Parable of the Vineyard Workers." It just didn't seem fair to me. The workers who had been hired first had worked all day long and yet received the same as the workers who had been hired at the end of the day. Surely those first workers deserved so much more. After all, they had worked so hard for it. Whereas the last workers had done hardly any work at all. I had missed the point of what this parable is all about, and I had missed it because I had a heart problem (a spiritual one). This parable is not so much about work as it is about God's amazing grace towards you and me. God took the time to reveal the truth to me and since then this parable has become one of my favourites, and that's why I want to share it with you today.
